This time, I visited the area around the bridgehead, just north of Dadaocheng. Starting with Taiping Market, Taiping Chicken Rolls, and Ajiao Braised Pork, I sampled familiar local dishes like cabbage rice and original pork rib soup. I also visited historical spaces such as the Ahong Memory Museum at the Fourteen Water Gate and the Taiping Elementary School Museum. Hidden in the alleys are many unique shops and old houses, as well as classic delicacies like noodles and Chongqing Guo fish soup. Less crowded than tourist areas, it retains more of the old Taipei lifestyle, making it a worthwhile old-town route to explore at a leisurely pace. #TaipeiDayTrip #Dadaocheng
