Breaks my heart to know Phoenix regrets AS10 altogether... If it helps to hear, my husband and I are watching AS10 right now and just finished the orange bracket! My husband who is newer to the show hasn't seen S3 before and doesn't know about the cast from the OG seasons. He and I both LOVE Phoenix' work on AS10 and her run definitely helped introduce her to a lot of the fandom. Hopefully it's all love for her. The edit on AS10 if you pay attention highlights how integral Phoenix is to any group setting, whether it's her club at home or the cast of a Drag Race season. She is constantly helping and mothering the girls, we love to see

I’m happy for Phoenix that she didn’t give in and give the producers the explosion they wanted. They don’t need to emotionally manipulate people to make a good show. These queens are entertaining enough they could just make a good show out of showing their talents and natural personalities interacting.

I love Phoenix!
She’s so relaxing to listen to
And so refreshing to hear a queen just be real without the put on affect.

I appreciated how Phoenix talked about being a Drag Artist vs a TV Personality. I feel like there is indeed a difference because your behavior and actions dictate your fame on both sides of the coin but on TV, if you are mild-mannered or introverted, it's an instant K.O. for you even though you might be the FIERCEST Drag Entertainer in other spaces. Look at Nina West! She is not the best at Drag Race, but she has done more good for her community than many of us combined! And I feel Phoenix is like that too. Her impact in our world is not through TV, it is through her work.❤❤❤

Honestly, her reclaiming her Prison HONEy moment from season 3 in the makeover is my favourite alongside her Coming and Going Runway in the second episode, which was a beautiful homage to her sister

PHOENIX! What a lovely person! I’m a longtime DR watcher - since season 2 - and I love seeing these queens come back so new fans can get to know these legends. Thank you for being such a real, kind person, making good TV drama be damned.

It was awesome to see Phoenix and Nichole back on the show❤❤❤❤
Production wanted to see the interaction with The BROOKS over seeing the ATL GIRLS alliance/kiki.

I really like Phoenix, she comes across on season 3 and All Stars 10 as such a professional and genuine person who had worked the craft of drag. The looks in AS10 were incredible. Let`s get Phoenix on a Australia, UK or Canada vs the world season.

Matt, this interview was so incredibly well done. You navigated through so many different topics with such ease, and you could tell that Phoenix felt comfortable with you. Really appreciate all you do, and was so glad to see Phoenix on my screen again— I bet she’s got hours of stories about all her experiences as one of the pillars of the ATL drag scene for the past 20+ years!

Entrepreneur who loves what she does. She is a professional drag queen and I’m glad to had followed her since season 3 to all stars 10. Great job Phoenix and her orange bracket promo look was amazing

If Drag Race called me up and asked me what I would change, I would tell them to get rid of the pointless point system and have the brackets compete against each other for spots to move on in the competion. Then have the brackets vote lipstick style for which queens in their bracket they want to move on. Its the same number of queens, same 6 queens each bracket, but each episode is a different pairing of the brackets competing for potentially 9 spots BUT no one is eliminated until after each pairing. That way no one is screwed by going first and production doesnt waste our time with fake/dumb fights(i.e. olivia lux) and production can still meddle but it is limited.

I’m glad Phoenix is still open to doing Versus the World seasons. She needs to do anything except UK Versus the World. Just do a non-Rupaul hosted season. A fresh judging panel might help her be more appreciated.
