Hopefully, Maddow's research is sounding the alarm, because these events are sounding eerily contemporaneous.

No one saw it coming, except the oligarchs, elite, etc.

We need to vote them OUT! Thank you, Rachel!

My ex brother-in-law was taken to German American Bund picnics as a kid. He joked that they were always held near defense industries in Baltimore like the Glenn L. Martin Company.

This is why we need to know and learn from history. It has a habit of repeating.

We need a documentary on this.

this history sounds like current events

Excellent all the way around.  Just one minor thing.  For students of WWII ULTRA was the name of the British  intelligence program to break the German Enigma code.  And they succeeded.  This was the Bletchley Park operation with mastermind Alan M. Turing.

I have repeated on various comments the mantra of what we see today..."when Fascism comes to the US it will be wrapped in a flag and waving a cross" when someone says Evangelists or any religious BS I take that as code for Right winger which is code for Fascists. That is where they are and who they are.

Money in our politics opens the door for our foreign adversaries and outright enemies to  buy and own our elected official and direct and control our national government.

I do hope to God that when and if Stephen Spielberg does make this movie that each and every name, with the incriminating evidence, is prominently named so that those of us who despise treason will know who committed it so that we never mistake that name again with anything American nor honorable.   Henry Ford and Charles A Lindbergh are already known to us; I want to know that all those members of our government who were complicit are well known too.

I've commented elsewhere that I spent an afternoon listening to this podcast. Rachael delivered on all points, I was totally captured by its intrigue.

For those who have listened to the program, I pose this: what are your thoughts about the scuffle that occured in the plane as told by the senator's secretary?

We must always be vigilant, thank you, Rachael.

It never died out. Just festered and reimerged to what we are witnessing. History repeating itself.

What an incredible history which I have never  heard [despite being knowledgeable of the 1930's plot vs. FDR exposed by Smedley Butler, and the Assassinations of 1963-1968] !

Don't forget - Ronald Reagan used 'America First' as his battle cry too...

Well worthwhile. Rachel is an excellent historian and reporter. ULTRA deserves to be listened to by all.

Dont miss this! Best podcast ever!

This is a terrific production.  Ultra is a really well researched work.  I am 65 and I have always known the Republican Politicians were mean and hateful people.  I studied the Nazis rise and beliefs in High School.  My mother didn't want me to do my paper on that because there were too many Republicans in the school's board, and she didn't want them to get mad at me.  So, I did my paper on JFK's assassination.  I tried to talk about politics with friends and they were just repeating what their parents and grandparents said.  I knew they couldn't think for their own selves yet.  People really need to leave home for a while, like going into the service or college or university to meet and talk to different people with different beliefs and attitudes.  People can learn a lot if they get out of their tight knit bubbles in which they live.  It is always painful because you end up offending others with your ignorance, but if you show them you didn't mean to offend them and ask them to help you learn how not to offend them, that is what happened to me and I learned a lot.  I was innocent and ignorant about so many things.  But now I consider myself to be WOKE, OR AWAKE.  A man needs to know his limitations, is a quote from a Dirty Harry movie.  Well, we all have limitations, but we can constantly learn.  This is what woke it.  Constantly learning, not wanting to be insensitive to other people's feelings.  Thinking critically doesn't mean to be critical of others, that is called being JUDGE-MENTAL, being MENTAL about judging others.  Critical thinking means to always check to make sure you are accepting truth instead of lies, fact instead of fiction.  Some people will choose to be good, and some people will choose to be bad.  Critical thinking can help you know the difference between the two.

Wow history repeats if you aren’t careful?

Ultra is an EXCELLENT series.
