Casual reminder that Eggman did all this to make a theme park.

1. The Unleashed opening cinematic is to this day the best in the franchise.

2. Love that you caught that Eggman literally cracked open the Earth like an egg

3. Eggman bringing his entire fleet against Sonic is fully in-character. Anything less would be almost disrespectful to his arch enemy

Best Sonic opening of all time and still unbeat

sonic is infact built different

Eggman can just wake up one day and casually decide to become a multiversal threat, and Sonic and friends have stopped him every single time. Then again, most of Eggman's failures stem from either Sonic's brute force or Eggman being way too arrogant for his own good.

0:47 Sonic. You need it for Sonic. Unironically, he is that big of a threat. He'd do it anyway, because he's just that extra, and conquering the world takes large scale stuff like that, but you cannot deal with Sonic if you're not pulling up with space armadas and Death Stars. Really you can't deal with him even WITH that, but Eggman's trying his best, there's only so much you can do.

0:39

to make a very imposing entrance and apperance. Eggman watched megamind cuz it's all about presentation

3:15 mind you Jason voiced this whole game with a sore throat

theres literally never been a better time to play unleashed, it got a fan recompiling for a pc port a few days ago
highly reccomend, the whole game's story is this quality, and it still stands as my favourite sonic game of all time

"Unless he is conquering planets, what does he needs all this for?"
"For a small blue hedgehog and we already know it won't be enough"

The opening with the fleet was basically the endgame of one of Sonic's adventures. He's already traveled around the world, collected all of the chaos emeralds, and now he's here fighting Eggman.

They absolutely cooked in 2008 and it’s kinda sad how they never topped this intro cinematic for a sonic game

The highest peak of Sonic media ever made

Constant reminder: The entire Sonic Franchise happens in one year.

Eggman comes up with this things like this and create all his bases in less than a year.

I don’t know how to explain this, but it just feels like it’s from the late 2000s, like just the vibe of it

Casual reminder that while, yes, Sonic is but one Hedgehog, he is literally the walking and breathing embodiment of Chaos itself, which is why Eggman always has such a difficult time with him, as Eggman clearly embodies Order, albeit in his own ways.

Imagine if this was what the sonic movies would've became

Sonic is just built different, im surprised eggman hasn’t died yet at this point

This Sonic opening is easily the best in the franchise. I wouldn’t mind a movie with this level of animation.
