PlayStation Doesn't Care About You...

PlayStation says most players are already digital... so why should they care about the backlash?

In this video I break down Sony's response to the physical games controversy, why so many PlayStation fans are angry, and what this could mean for the future of game ownership.

We also look at Sony's latest financial comments, the push toward an all-digital future, why physical media matters, consumer rights, and whether PlayStation is becoming too confident after the PS5's success.

Are PlayStation players finally reaching their limit... or will Sony get away with it?

Ah, well. PlayStation's best years are far behind them anyway. They're like a toxic girlfriend who keeps giving you ample reason to break up with her and after years of being together and watching her fall more in love with money than anything else, you start to see just how much she has changed from the person you used to love. I think that's why a lot of Sony fanboys keep clinging on. They think she's going to change back to that girl they used to know, but that girl is long gone.

I grew up with console, but once i learned what modding was and how to do it, I went to PC and have never looked back.

Assassin's Creed Black flag resynced was probably my last physical PS5 box with a disc and booklet... I'm already getting nostalgic 😢

On pc I can pop in an obscure game disc from 1995 and, with minimal effort, make it work. Do that with your console. Not to mention I can buy a manually updated version for a few dollars on GOG, and I can write it to disc and do it all over again.

I remember about 2 months ago, all nerds were talking down on the Steam Machine... and now it looks like the best deal for casual gaming.

People these days really don't know how good it used to be, all this extra stuff that comes in dlc and physical collectors editions, that used to be on the disk and in the cd case.
Maps, posters, stories, lore, breakdowns, extra characters, modes and maps
Alll right there for the base game price.

The hideous design of the PS5 was like some sort of weird omen for what was coming

2:25 that should not be funny but I ended up laughing out of my seat 😅

There will probably not be a next generation for me. Once my current systems no longer have games on them I’ll finally tackle that backlog. And once my 3080 PC can’t play new games I’ll stick with old ones.

Cancel your GTA6 Pre-orders...(Especially for PlayStation 5) It's Digital only atm so it's not like copies are limited people...In a year or so when games you have go missing in your library & you lose your ownership of games you have paid for....DON'T COMPLAIN!!! You did it to your selves!!! Happy gaming...while it still exists!!!
