“They’re prog without all the annoying parts”. Amen.

Matt Bellamy is still spectacular! Been a fan for 20 years

One of the best music reactions/breakdowns/analysis I’ve ever seen. Props to you, truly a professional

The reaction playbook on YouTube is simple, infinitely and excessively praise the artist to attract views from their fanbase. However, Chris Liepe’s reaction videos stand out by offering justified praise backed by insightful analysis. Everytime I watch one of your reaction videos, you reveal vocal nuances I’d previously overlooked, despite having heard the song multiple times. Thank you for consistently delivering passionate, educational content that adds real value! 🙌

Matt Bellamy is one of the best singers ever, in my opinion! He gives me so much!!

Knowing Jeff Buckley is Matt's maybe biggest influence on his vocal confidence explains a lot of things. If my memory is correct he stated that during Muse early days he wasn't confident doing high notes as a man and didn't think it was cool until he heard Jeff Buckley.

I fucking love seeing this man fanboy. One of the best bands ever!

He's also one of the best guitarists of the last 30 years. Ita somehting gets overlooked a lot

I’ve been obsessed with Matt Bellamy’s unique voice for the past twenty years but could never really put language to why. Such an amazing breakdown and technical explanation!

Finally someone else who understands AND appreciates Matt’s vocals. ❤

I’m a 68yr old widow I live in Great Britain 🇬🇧 I absolutely love Muse thank you for being so positive about this track❤❤😊

He's using his breath like an open hi-hat that closes before the next beat.

Which keeps the element separate and organic from the drums which are going for an analogue drum-machine kind of feel.

It keeps the drums thematic for the song and brings life to his intimate vocal lines.

Can we talk for a second about that crazy 8 string guitar Matt is playing? Metal af.

YES I’m so happy to see a reaction to this! I just heard it on the radio and said “holy shit, this is MUSE?!”

So happy you're checking out their new song! this will be an interesting era for them lol.

Omfg Matt Bellamy is one of my all time favorite vocalists and it’s so fun to watch someone break it down the way I do, it’s a legit joy. New sub here!

This song is Matt Bellamy after listening to Mick Gordon and Devin Townsend in the chorus haha

I've not listened to much of Muse since 2nd Law came out, but something about this single really picked by interest back up again. It's a solid song!

First time stumbling on you Chris, purely for the fact that being an all-time fan of Muse, hearing this song has rejuvenated my absolute love for their music and it's made me curious what others think as well, which is what brought me here.

For me, this is one of their all-time greats, up there with Showbiz, Plug in Baby, Map of the Problematique, Hysteria etc. -- it felt controversial saying that, but I know as soon as I hear the song for the millionth time (I'm close to that), I'll stand by it!
