"NOT WHAT A HUMAN SOUNDS LIKE" genuinely made me laugh

the robotic editing is so uncomfortable to listen to omg it’s so uncanny like

Something that I’ve noticed is that during the second generation, Idols would spend years training before debuting. Now, companies debut idols without much training and as young as possible. The goal seems to be making as much money as possible without investing much pre-debut which is unfortunate because Idols don’t get the training necessary in order to reach their full potential.

Agree on the commentary on Lara and Sophia, esp Sophia — she doesn’t even get any meaty parts on their songs so far. And thank you always for your honesty on those encores and the Coachella performance.  Some mics were on and some were not — and even if they were on, the sound coming out weren’t necessarily slaying; and loved that you were honest enough to say there were still food left on the plate.

"Natural, national filipino belting power" lol...but fr tho. Did you see Sophia and Lara do three part harmony with Laufey? Hopefully that's HYBE acknowledging their skills that hopefully will be showcased in the new EP. Cautious optimism.

I just see people sleeping on enhypen's vocals. Since a year ago I can't stop wanting to hear more of what they are capable of, I think spending almost two years on tour has helped them gain more experience

Enhypen mentioned, I am always proud of my children, growing more and more incredible every day

I'm so confused by the comments defending idols vs western singers like.....no. K-pop companies COULD go out and find PLENTY of talented really good vocalists. Korea is full of them. Instead, they CHOOSE to find mediocre singers that are super hot visually, then train them to an "acceptable" level of vocal talent. That's why even the "top vocalists" in k-pop these days don't come close to Lady Gaga/Beyonce/Ariana/most western singers. And that's why back in the old gens, where companies actually DID choose some members based on vocal talent (Hyolyn, Ailee, Mamamoo), the idols could hold their own and put on impressive performances.

I'm so happy as an engene. Enhypen really did good in coachella, so glad people are praising them not only for visuals but also for other important things.

Can you imagine Mamamoo at Coachella? With their fantastic vocals and great stage presence? They would literally dope, both as a group and individually.

Enhypen ATE Coachella!!!

F(X) MENTIONED they're never play when it comes to live vocals, even the members who are not that great in singing(like victoria) were always very stable. Props to sulli too who was a "weak" vocalist but used to have a really good range that girl was seriously underrated in the group

I didn't know those katseye girls were such good vocalists... HYBE is really wasting their talent 😭

LARA IS THAT GWORL LIKE THATS MY SISTER FRR but i dont think shes being utilized that well cus her taste in music (seems more rnb inclined) and her voice just dont fit what the group is doing like

MAMAMOO supposed to perform on 2020 Coachella but then BOOM! COVID-19 robbed their chance 😔💔

Enhypen has a comeback “Desire : Unleash” June 5

I love how Taeyeon To.X become your regular bg music now and I’m here for it.

Mass product like fast fashion....that's what kpop became for me. No more care for quality, even tough they have quality options....

Lara of Katseye is one of the most vocally agile singers I’ve ever heard (that classical Indian music background really stands out!). She even blew Nayeon out of the water on the show in my opinion! Also 11:33 hurts my heart, I can’t believe they have him fry screaming when he has trouble supporting his voice properly just singing normally…

the handling of aespa makes me so mad cause like i KNOW they can sing and i don't think i've ever heard them sing live for a performance 😭
