At the time of recording, the median home price was approximately $565,000 in Sequim and $480,000 in Port Angeles. Those numbers change with the market, so consider them a snapshot rather than current pricing.
Port Angeles offers a larger downtown, Olympic Medical Center, Peninsula College, the Victoria ferry and convenient access to the western Olympic Peninsula. Sequim offers a smaller-town atmosphere, its famously drier climate and convenient access toward Port Townsend, Kitsap County and the Seattle area.
Neither town is the same — and that's exactly the point. The right choice depends on how you want to live.
