Made for TV movies (that were usually TV shows re-edited/re-packaged as movies) are one of my favorite categories of Mst3k movies.

There’s a workman-like  competence to the whole thing; from the writing, directing, and acting, that is weirdly comforting and nostalgic

Gotta love the ending moral of "you're only disabled because you haven't tried hard enough!"

35:19 The CRUNCH of Crow's net falling off just kills me every time

I love how the "she's not your daughter" dialogue near the end of the second episo--half of the movie was obviously dubbed in much later

Fun fact: The first half of the experiment was directed by Robert Clouse, who also directed ENTER THE DRAGON, GAME OF DEATH, BLACK BELT JONES, THE BIG BRAWL and GYMKATA

A truly great episode of MST3K with some really funny riffs. Also the entire series, The Master, is available on you tube and is worth a watch.

"Yeah, I've got a made-for-TV warrant right here!"

Film Ventures International produced a number of low-rent TV movies in the 70s and 80s. They tried to do theatrical films, but had a series of expensive flops. When the company was about to fold, their president, Edward Montaro, embezzled all the money they had left and disappeared. He hasn't been seen since. Nobody knows if he's even still alive.

Used to watch The Master with my dad when I was a wee lad... to this day I still refer to being thrown out of a place as getting "Max Keller'd."

1:01:53 "I feel like snorkeling. Pick me up in an hour." 😆

Look I just want to say.

That Claude Akins scene where he's talking to/threatening the suit and glasses guy?

Actually a great performance on Akins part.

I've only ever caught Master Ninja II.  This may be worse.

If you look up and watch the opening theme to "The Master" you can see how they escaped that garage fire.

You're an actor....ACT!

Such a niche show. MST3K for life

Does anyone ever notice that some people like some of these movies, and that some aren't all bad?

The  Bikers nearly got run over by the A-Team's 2nd  unit - the B Team.
