I’m a pretty quiet person, and sometimes I wonder if that’s one reason I feel comfortable living in Japan.
Come spend a normal Tuesday in Tokyo with me — commuting to work, doing a little English practice on the train, trying to decide what to eat for lunch, wandering into a drugstore for eye drops, and finding my favorite kind of seat: a quiet one in the corner.
I’m Chinese and I live and work in Tokyo. Most days are pretty ordinary, but apparently I have a lot of thoughts for someone who doesn’t talk that much :)
