Who else wants to build a time machine?

This’s RIGHTEOUS!! In ‘77 I was 17 & living in San Jose, working @ original Atari factory in Sunnyvale. 1 of the guys I worked w/ was a San Jose HA named Wino Joe. 1 day he told me club was having a party in Santa Cruz & he was put in charge of getting music. He said”You’re the only guy I know who has a band,so here’s the deal…” We ended up as house band for the summer @ parties. Got my 1st HD from HA Tiny,’69 rigid frame Sporty w/ 6” over front end…still ridin, still playin. Thanx for the memories

Thanks for  this.....I recall those days, great tmes....of course back then we had a lot more freedom....been riding since I turned 16.....still riding at 72..

I’m 70 now. I rode rigid pans and Sportsters when I was young. My first was a 69 Sportster when I was 17. Ain’t no way in HELL I could ride bikes like this now. But thanks for the memories. 👍🏻👍🏻

enjoyable piece. went to school in santa cruz in 1969. back when bikers built their own bikes. and had a good time.

wow im so stoked that this documentary has gained interest.  This is what I grew up with all around me..thats my mom riding the trike and that's my dad "Big John" handcuffed to the sheriff...and our dearest friend Dorita talking about her tattoo...thanks for all the support.

That was fantastic, thanks! 1977, I was 23, really brought back the memories. 69 now and still ride, still love it.

the guys at the end explaining what its like to build and ride your own chopper was perfect

" You wanna know what its all about?" This is what it's all about 👊

The 70's were my time. I turned 17 in '73 and seeing this film makes me nostalgic for those days. In my opinion, the 70's were the last of the days when you could be free.
We didn't know we had it so good, and that it would end so quickly. ✌️❤️

Man, talk about a time capsule. Such a unique time! Great film project! Really captured it.

These are the best films in history, of history, choppers, beautiful women in short shorts and good friends, cold beer, and smoke and bad ass rock concerts.

Owning and riding a motorcycle used to mean something. If you wanted to customize your scoot you made stuff, there weren't boutiques selling chrome. And  by the way, no self respecting biker would be caught dead riding a motorcycle in shorts. Daisies.

We used to be free country not long ago. Just you people remember that.

We can make it that way again.

I have no words for this video. It’s the best on YouTube. I’m 57 ride a 75 shovelhead kick only jockey shift. My parents used to take me as a kid to bike runs. My fondest memories were my Ma & Pops 66 Electra glide. I have a first edition June 71 easyrider and up to 2000
When they got too PC.  Thank you for the memories.

History captured om film and what seems like a hundred years ago, was in fact my senior year of high school.
Wow, I am getting old !!!

The good ole' days...

So fuckin cool. absolutely nothing better than the old school style. I just hope more young folks like me and my buddy are into this stuff.

Oh Man! You took me back in time with this!

The bikes were righteous. Everyone of them built to ride. No typical t-bars like today or over the top apehangers. Just pure originality front to back.
