My Wife showed me some beautiful overlapping wooden crosses she had seen on social media and asked if I could make one for her . Most examples I found were made from 12 individual pieces glued together , which didn't look very strong , so I wanted to make both the upright and cross piece from a solid timber.
After a fair bit of trial and error , I developed a design that works well .
I don't claim to be the first to create this style of cross (wooden) and I'm not sure who was , but my congratulations to whoever did .
