Glad to see Snipe is doing ok, hope you make a speedy recover and stay strong

Back in the 90s a friend and I once decided to have a massive battle between Blood Angels and Ultramarines plus any Imperial Soup we had lying around. We just played it to the last man standing and it came down to his Vindicare and my Callidus duking it out on the top of a Ghostbusters tower we were using as a fortress.

I love how begrudgingly important the Ian Watson 40k books are. You hope it’s the last you’ve heard of it but it just keeps showing up.

I hope that this community never forgets the power the name  I A N  W A T S O N  should wield

I absolutely LOVE the weird, incredibly Extra, horrific nature of the Imperial Assassins. You've got one sociopath, one psychopath, one body horror and one cosmic horror. Perfectly Grim Dark.

(Also congrats on 50!)

4:54 I love the way that the assassin, surrounded by a whole squad of Striking Scorpions, is snapped with what looks like a cheesy grin straight to camera as if sharing some fourth-wall-breaking joke with the audience...

Congratulations on 50 episodes! I vaguely remember a story about a Vindicare Assassin who stayed so still for so long, people on the target's planet assumed he was a statue and just ignored him.

I swear the location bit was a real thing in sniper programs  something like 1. Location: where are you? 2. Location: where is your target? 3. Location: where is your target moving to? Something like that, anyway.

As someone who started in 2nd edition, I absolutely care about these topics. I appreciate you two reminding me of the glory days of this hobby before competitive play smooshed the idea kids playing a game for fun.

This has, and will continue to be, one of my favourite shows on YouTube. I genuinely get a smile on my face when I see a new episode posted. Thanks so much for taking the time to put these together!

This is genuinely one of my favorite series on YouTube. Here's to another 50 episodes!

Videos like this make me wanna experience 2E. Chaotic, vibrant, fluffy, and probably spirals outta control if you ever try hard it. The models, paint schemes, the writing, and rules just scratch some part of my brain I'm not familiar with. It's got that high school flair of when you're just throwing everything at the wall and you've got a vague ability to direct it and be deliberate, but not the good sense of when to pull back. It's just so earnest.

I remember someone wrote into White Dwarf with an Edgar Allen Poe spoof poem based on The Raven all about an Eversor assassin. The only thing I remember clearly about it 8s the line 'qouth the raven "Eversor".'

For some reason, in my mind, this channel has existed since 1988

5:06 idk why but the image of an eversor assassin sneaking around is very funny to me

7:51 The thing with the Callidus deployment was that you picked which model was the assassin at the time of the reveal, you didn't need to pick it before the battle, so even if your ideal target had just eaten a vortex grenade you could then go "uh actually she was the model standing closest to this devastator squad over here" instead.

Praise be to cannoness snipe and commisar wib! Glory to she who endures, and he who supports! Damn the name of nergal!

"They just do that sometimes"
Me who bought a 3rd edition skaven codex for aos a year after he bought a 2nd edition one and see that they both have the same cover art "they sure do! Cheap bastards."

morphs out of the body of your best friend, behind you

'Nothing personal, kid' - unnamed Callidus Assassin

I love how youǜe put the Eversor in the middle of those grots, like he had nothing better to do. :D
