Situated beside Letcombe Brook, Letcombe Regis features St Andrewβs Church and a village green. Also recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086, it lies near Segsbury Camp, an Iron Age hillfort that reveals an even older history in the surrounding landscape.

Set beside Childrey Brook in the Vale of White Horse, West Challow has deep historical roots. The name Challow appears in a charter dated 947, while the distinct name West Challow is recorded from 1284. The former Wilts & Berks Canal route adds another chapter to its rural heritage.
