This is my idea of Heaven

Ah, Schubert.  When he is played with this musicianship and love no composer is more beautiful.  Thanks for the superb performance.

Such a deep interpretation. Perfect balance.

this is astounding. breathtaking. each individual part is played with incredible technique, virtuosity, and expressive musicality--and the ensemble playing is even more incredible. all in all, it puts schubert's beautiful soul and dramatic storytelling to the fore. this performance and recording is very, very special. thank you to all

From the first few bars I knew this was a stellar performance of this amazing work. Well done all! I'm glad to live in an age where I can visit here on youTube to experience your performance.

Those chords! From the first C major chord, throughout the whole work, those beautiful major chords, Schubert's spacing of the notes, the sound of five stringed instruments, played on beautiful instruments by superb musicians, is totally ethereal, heavenly.

I am obsessed with this beautiful piece by Schubert. I have listened to many versions but this in my view is the best

Viewers who stumble upon the string quintet on YouTube, will very likely find a separate recording of the adagio, which stands fine on its own, but if you fall in love with that movement, you should try to spend the time and hear it in its context. Like here.

What a great performance!  Kudos to the sound engineers as well.

Etwas vom grössten was an Kammermusik im 19. Jh. entstanden ist. Danke für die Wiedergabe.
