Relistening as I don't remember anything of this story. 😂😂😂

The detail that Parker’s hair color was different to Kyle’s, the detail that Kyle and Kimberly’s were the same.. the bigger picture is starting to come in

Revisiting this story really makes you realize:
What the poem really means
Why the schoolgirl was asking if she was related to Kimber
Why kimbers mom hated kyle
What Meera was talking about with her husband
Why mc`s dad used the present tense while talking about whitney at the station

"underneath the triple tree
There is a man who waits for me
And should I go
Or should I stay
My fates the same
Either way."

Chills man, everytime.

Nooo half an hour after finishing the story, I just realized Kimbers mom didn’t like Kyle cause they were siblings!! 😭 both with “K” children of the sheriff ‼️**mind blown**‼️

It was a genuine pleasure to bring Kyle and the elder Prescott to life, thank you so much for having me!

Kyle's va really know how to sell the emotion hats off to him.

They should have grabbed the gun, could have stopped it right there forever.
I think that got me the most is that the MC/narrator's father was in on it, as a father myself if one of my kids had been kidnapped to run a baby mill, I would have gone on an absolute mürdêr!ng spree.

Deep down I hoped for a happy ending. I really hoped they would work together and beat the bad guys, and save eveyone. But I knew they wouldn't be able to. God this story is... It's intense. It's so much sadder and darker than almost any other story you've read before. At least in my opinion. The moment when he walked in on Prescott doing THAT fucked me up. I realized what was happening and I actually got emotional. You all did an amazing job.

I was expecting a super natural kind of horror, but when they entered the "stable", my heart sank. This story truly was an enthralling ride, I don't think I've heard such a well written horror story. The voice acting was on point and immaculate. Thank you for the experience, it was truly horrifying.

Kyle stood on business until the end.

The ending of Borrasca was genuinely unexpected when I read it for the first time, and really engaged me. Everyone in the voice-over team did a great job and made me feel like I was actually watching a movie when I had my eyes closed. Thanks for the long awaited surreal experience and I can't wait to hear more from you

This was the most disturbing story I've ever listened to on this channel...and I've listened to them all. The sheer levels of torment and dread in this story are unparalleled, especially due to how realistic they are, and how there are, in fact, actual victims of this same kind of thing in real life. It also doesn't help that I live in Missouri and have been to the Ozarks multiple times...so it really hit home for me, quite literally.

That ending is fcking depressing. I'm going to go watch The Lorax to feel better.

To everyone who is listening to this story for the first time, you are in for quite a ride. You may think that you are ready, but you can never be ready for this.

Also, when it comes to stories that had me absolutely absorbed in every detail and moment, this is easily in the top 5. I felt like I was experiencing the character’s emotions as they experienced them.

I was hooked within minutes and so intrigued with the mystery, but now I'm just heartbroken 😥 That ending was so freaking sad!

I have never heard this story, I have listened to many other stories, but this HIT me. Man, even the scariest of monsters pale in comparison to what humans do to humans. And to think there is something like this and likely ten times worse. Dang, mental.
