Honestly as I see it the real underdog is the mic, no matter what you have if the sound quality is trash I ain't gonna stay and watch a minute more.

That's specially cause vtubers depend more on voice over other YouTubers cause it's their main interaction with the viewer.

PC specs I recommend for Vtubing:

At least:
- Any PC after 2006 for better performances…

Minimum:
- Any PC which can be better than:
+ Windows 7
+ Any CPU(s) with at least 2 cores and 2 threads with 1.0GHz
+ 1GB of physical RAM
+ Integrated GPU after 2010 or Dedicated GPU after 2005 with some appropriate technologies

btw yall do NOT sleep on thrift stores!! I got my second monitor for 10 bucks and it works great, just a lil old (which for a utility monitor it doesn't need to be anything crazy in the first place!!)

Would it be possible to run a video on a dual PC set up. I currently have my current gaming laptop and a previous decent laptop.

Thank you so much for these tips! As a newer Vtuber they help so much! Thankfully I already have pretty much all of these items except a stream deck, and well a 2nd monitor since mine took a crap on me about a year ago, haha. I do however have my standalone art tablet that I have the superdisplay app on, so I can use it as a secondary monitor, and it's great because I can still stream art too!

I absolutely agree with the final one, my pc had only 3070 gpu and and ryzen 5600x which was a bottleneck to run good games and streaming for long period of time made the whole pc to stutter. Before anyone thinking of vtubing I'd definitely check if the PC has the capability to run all programs without any issues

I’m currently living at home and I don’t have my own space…I can’t afford to get any big equipment, I can’t work and I only have an iPad and phone. I really wanna do Vtube so wish me luck for the future

As for monitors, you can get a cheap monitor second hand! You don't need the best secondary screen, and a 10-20 euros/dollars monitor will do. Sometimes you can even find monitors in the trash that will work for you.
