Everyone’s busy ranking the drivers who’ve improved in 2026, so I wanna do the opposite!
How? The teammate battle! That's F1’s closest thing to a neutral experiment. Based on the first half of the Formula 1 season so far, I have four racers in mind for this video. Nico Hulkenberg hasn't converted Saturdays often enough, Esteban Ocon has a real career emergency on deck, Carlos Sainz is racing against his 2024 self and as for Alex Albon? He certainly doesn't look the same man as he did in 2025!
There are good reasons as to why they are where they are and there's still time to flip the script...but these first 11 rounds have still happened...and silly season is upon us so...
