Yes, this is LIVE live. They performed number of songs on this show. So good.

This was live performance, this was the musicians ABBA toured with on the concerts. 🔥

🧡💙yes, both girls shine, Björn, especially Benny, but also Rutger (bass) and Ola Brunkert (drums) - April 1981, their last live performance😪 (you could feel it in the air), in a TV studio in Stockholm (they performed 9 songs and a short interview with the host of the show)

An actual genuine live performance for a change.

It's live ❤❤❤❤

thanks for this ☄rock Abba( just listen that Benny on the piano), besides this live performance, there is another TV performance for this song (maybe you mixed it up with that). This is definitely live (2 drummers, 4 guitars, backing vocals..)

And on this album from 1980(just like for 79', Voulez-Vous), I think that B&B, at least in the initial phase, did not clearly recognize the potential of some of their songs. When this (together with LAYLOM and Super Trouper) began to conquer the music charts (among other, in the US and the UK) then they subsequently released singles but only in limited territories.. 2 years ago you watched a slide show of Abba from the concert with this song (but it's not actually an official video for this song, it was created more or less by accident, and then later subsequently accepted, after the success of these tracks)

This is clearly a really live version - lots of differences to the studio recording.

ABBA were at home here in Stockholm, and it is 100% LIVE...............but...............ABBA did do a lot of lip-synching in so-called "live" performances...............for example, on German TV shows: "Musikladen" and "Disco".  In 1979 Special "ABBA in Switzerland, was also lip-synched.  When ABBA came to the US in May of 1978, they were not allowed to lip-synch, and that performance on the Olivia Newton-John Show was LIVE.  ABBA's performances on the UK's BBC "Top Of The Pops" were also LIVE. 🎤🎤✨

It's definitely a live performance; ABBA were perfect live, and this was from the “Dick Cavett” show. Check out more from this concert—“Slipping Through My Fingers” is absolutely wonderful.

Later on in their career,as this was , 1981, they ended their careers in 1982..you can see that they lost some of their happiness and spark out there on the scene..they were more stationary..didnt smile as much as in previous performances in earlier years. That did not effect their great talent and music performances though, but you could clearly see that they felt that the end was coming close. That doesnt take anything from this performance though..just an observation...its still and always will be the best music out there..ABBA is on a level on their own...

This one is live .... ABBA In Switzerland is not live .... ABBA in Wembley is live ...

From the Dick Cavett show where he interviewed them. You should do Summer night city from the same show. I think it’s the best live version of that song.

Try 'Two for the price of one' for the same Dick Cavet Show .(Björn lead)
Take care, Lil mann ✌️
Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗🤓👌

Lil man, concerning if ABBA was lipsynching or not as you asked about here..,sometimes they did...here in this video,no...I will tell you some good checkpoints concerning evaluating that. Their live singing, and music,as as all live singing, and music, slightly different from the album studio versions. Thats unavoidable for all music bands. If they sound different from the album version, you know its no lipsynch. No prerecording.  Also, pay attention to the instruments they are playing. If you hear keyboards, drums, etc in the song and there is no such instrument in place where they perform, you can be sure its lipsynch. If they as well sound exactly like the studio version, which is impossible in live performance, you can also deduct its a lipsynch...

ABBA's performance of "Chiquitita", on 9 January, 1979, the UN General Aseembly,  "A Gift Of Song" for UNICEF gala, was lip-synched.

Please Lil Man, check the sound of your videos from today. The volume is low again
