What are your dad picks for the Primarchs? Let me know! Especially for the Khan.

It is also important to note that Big E never really saw them as ‘sons’, they weren’t even meant to be called his sons, that was just something that came about as a result of their scattering. They were tools to him, valuable tools, but tools nonetheless.

Maybe Batman could be Angron’s dad. He himself was traumatised at a young age, and he was filled with anger but he learned to utilize his rage into more productive ways. Batman also raised traumatized kids, like the Robins. Even though there is Red Hood, Batman always tried to help his adopted son — unlike Big E.

Also kratos could be another candidate for parenting Angron, who is being temperate and powerful enough to handle Angron and raise him properly.

Iroh could probably help a lot of them.

While I do agree that Big E made some mistakes when it came to the Primarchs, I do think that saying he was a bad father is a bit harsh considering that he lost them when they were babies and only ever reunited with them after they were already grown men. He basically got hit with 20…18 fully grown sons with preexisting biases, traumas, and beliefs. Big E treating them at an arm’s length makes sense, especially when you got sons like Lorgar, who was on a pseudo chaos worshipping planet, and Kurze.

The Khan is perfect indeed, so you dont want a dad who changes him.

Good option: King Fergus from Brave. He LOVES how his DAUGHTER kicks ass and does her own thing. He would totally learn to ride a bike to join his son in his conquest-tour to unite the clans, instead of the politic road that Queen Elinor wanted for her offspring.

Evil option: Lobo, the semi-psychotic spacebiker bounty hunter. He would love to show his son all of the universe on an insane breackneck crusade of pillage and high speed conquest.

Finally the video I have been waiting for the videos about the fathers, thank you, can't wait to watch it

1:19:00 Mr. Incredible is quite durable so there is an argument there to pair him with angron.

Malcador was kind of a father figure for the primarchs more than Big E. The busy uncle that is more of a father than your own father that is even busier and sees you as a checkbox on a list towards goals in life. Russ was quite close to him.

Glas to See you guys again

I'd say you missed a fantastic opportunity with Mufasa and the Lion. Keep Mufasa as a lion, one of the great lions of Caliban, but more-so, giant, sentient, intelligent, etc. He finds and raises the Lion for years before his eventual discovery by Luther.

Then, shortly before Luther would have found him, a Scar analogue gathers a pack of other Great Beasts and attempts to kill both Mufasa and the Lion, out of fear of what the Lion might eventually become. Basically, combine Scar with Shere Khan from Kipling's original Jungle Book, he fears the human child because he knows what that child will grow into.

Mufasa dies. The Lion does not.

That becomes the origin of the Lion's drive to hunt down and exterminate the Great Beasts of Caliban. From there, his story follows roughly the same course as canon, except Luther has considerably less work to do teaching him how to be civilized because Mufasa already raised him as a person, just not necessarily as a human.

As the knights purge the Great Beasts, as in canon, the Scar analogue is the last one left. The Lion eventually hunts him down personally, kills him, and takes his hide.

That becomes the lion pelt he wears on his armor.

So you end up with a weirdly fitting combination of The Lion King, Kipling's The Jungle Book, and the Lion's existing Caliban backstory.
Scar's attempt to prevent the Lion from becoming the dominant power on Caliban is ultimately the very thing that creates the Lion of Caliban.

Technically not a dad but Leman Russ and Mushu😂

For magnus i would recommend Merlin or Yen sid as his father figure, magic users who are just as powerful if not more so and more than capable of putting him in a time out and actually teaching the man much needed lessons and putting lines in the sand and having the authority and power to keep him from crossing that line and punish him if he did

While giving Lorgar Judge Frollo is funny I wish we heard the good options for him

Alfred Pennyworth works for both Corvus Corax & Konrad Curze,

For Angron > Fa Zhou Mulan's dad teaching him self love (which is the whole blossom lesson) aside from the life lessons a crippled veteran would have plus he'd get an awesome crazy grandmother and a caring mother.
Vulcan - Maurice Belle's father who would stimulate and get that confidence up
Perturabo - Gepetto cause he would truly love him, but Petur needs some more guidance. If you go with Merlin he also NEEDS Archimedes, cause Merlin also has temper trantrums and dips out when he doesn't get his way.
Dorn just needs a fun dad, who is supportive but also get him some emotional support I'd go with Jane Porters's dad. He also would talk him out of that selfharm glove.
Mortarion - Mufasa/Triton Ariel's dad.
Konrad Curze - Long John Silver, smart enough to outplay his bullshit and give him some lifelessons aswell as push him to live rather than be stuck to his visions.
The lion - Merida's dad Fergus

Wait, so Curze and Angron now are also Brothers in law?
Hell, this is almost as weird a family dynamic as that guy who is his own grandpa!

5:48 Me and a close friend of mine say that the biggest mistake Big E made (and trust me when I say he's made a few) is putting his humanity to the side for the sake of the Imperium.

6:58 We have parts where it's revealed that some Primarchs joined because they believed in their father's message (Look up Perturabo's oath when he first joins the Imperium. It is sad in how much optimism he has that Big E will use him properly.), but that's about it. The sons themselves are often better people then the man himself. Hell, Malcador was a better father at times.

23:00 Hilariously enough, I think that could almost work. Lorgar is not a bad looking guy. Add on to his faith, I think he's everything Frolo would want in a son. He might actually make Lorgar a better person. Mission failed successfully, guys. The "evil" option just kept Frollo alive.

Smite and smith come from the same root, afaik, and switching those out is an easy way to signify "different culture".

Curze did do alot of people watching when making sure they didnt commit crime. Splinter can make him watch people behined closed doors so urze could see that all the crime and ruthlessness people show are all done in order to care for their families let curze see that the people of nostramo all put on a fake mask that they hide their weakness behined not because they believe it but because its the only way to survive on nostramo. You need to get it into CCurze mind that he needs to be the 1 to protect them and make this world and every other world safe for people to be themselves without a mask. Make him target those incharge of nostramos crime that rule with an ironfist and use fear and intimidation to keep the people in line. Basically play Curze as a liberator and try install strong morals into him make him the judge of the emperium something like judge dredd, who is impossible to bribe, willing to kill and punish those breaking the law. basically turn the nightlords into the space marine legion version of the judges or arbites. let curze call out everyonefor hypocrasy dont keep quiet about it instead confront his visions of the future see them as possible futures not stuck in stone but possible futures that can happen whether they unfold exactly as the visions fortold is upto you yourself
