My word - five minutes of listening to David Bowie is like feasting on a full semester of the best music-philosophy-life class.

I like how when the screen shows his name, the first time he was an artist, the second time he was a musician. Even the editor couldn't make up his mind on Bowie lol

His laugh is infectious.

It's just a joy listening to him!

Ahh I'm glad he got to be much happier consciously everyday & with his family,

So openly honest flaws an all. He never settled always went towards things that were uncomfortable to keep learning.. open with change & totally ahead of times while creating the future for others to create theirs. Simple amazing and such a beautiful soul that's needed in the world.

Mind blowing intellect & creator. Adorable personality. Mr David Bowie 🖌️🎨🎭💜♾️

Great interview. Bowie is genius

The eloquence of the man! What a marvelous mind!

Great interview, one of many fine Rose interviews. Bowie, the artist, wildly entertaining and modern.

❤❤❤❤ I always tried to never miss Charlie Rose when it was on but somehow I missed him and David Bowie together this is awesome

Why does this not have the date it originally aired? The date would be very helpful to the usefulness of these great videos.

Now, Charlie Rose knew how to interview  a legend. So much to learn from a giant like Bowie. Compare this interview to the old DICK Cavett interview from Bowie's early years, and Cavett presented the people with nothing more than a celebrity roast.

I love that most of this interview is just them messing around

great interview.  I miss them both

1998 = 1947 + 51 years old

Bowie is sooo damn fabulous 😍

Genius

I love this man so much.

oh my god they're riffing so hard
