Bruce Cook

We thought we were going out for a relaxing alpine trip but that quickly turned into a very exciting recovery. The area received record breaking rainfall the day before and with him being out of service and unable to see the forecast, he got caught in the aftermath!

That man learned the limitations of his Hummer, and I'm honestly impressed by them. Beautiful video, thank you fot sharing!

Bruce, Denny seem like a heck of a friend. The type that you say “I’ve got a bad idea…” and he simply chimes in immediately “good, I’ll pay for gas”. - Nuff said.

When the trans got hot I kept yelling at the screen for him to shut it down but nobody heard me.😂 It most likely smoked the torque converter if not from being full of water. In all honesty it shouldn't be able to get water in it , think about all the mud truck guys driving through ponds & such. You called it when you said going slow in low gear, you're pushing a lot of power through the torque converter & it's creating a massive ammount of heat. It may have taken an hour to let it cool but I bet it takes longer to wait on a tow truck.

The sound of the water going down the washout is amazing and a little scary.

This one was indeed epic! 🤘

That was quite the recovery!! Probably the most amazing one I've seen you do so far. I guess Denny of the Alpine knows which berries are okay to eat. Loved the ride at the end, also.
