Welcome to PGX: Raw & Real #174

PGX: Raw & Real is simple. I sit with people who’ve lived through something and/or made it big.

This isn’t meant to be inspiration or a template for life (for that, you can check out PGX Ideas).
This space is different. It’s their story, as they experienced it.

In this episode, I spoke to Aditya Raj Kaul, a well-known journalist and researcher behind the Dhurandhar Film.

The fact that Prakhar is actually direct about his rich background and doesn't do a PR in the name of podcast gives me a sigh of relief.

Dawood ke poisoning ki news media mein bhi aayi thi. Then they turned it into food poisoning. Even at that time, I thought, "Dawood thele pe gol gappe thodi khata hoga ki food poisoning ho jaaye". It was poisoning, and it was done at his house. Jamali saab ki jai 😄

My god—Aditya Kaul jee is on another level. Pure guts. Just relentless—fact after fact, names, details, receipts. No hedging, no hiding—putting it all out there for people to see.
And then you look at others like Barkha Dutta and gang in the same profession… the contrast is embarrassing.

Journalists like him actually do the job—exposing what’s ugly, what’s buried, what people are supposed to never see. That takes real backbone. Honestly, that kind of courage isn’t far off from what our soldiers show—different battlefield, same risk of standing up for the truth.
Massive respect. Hats off.

I just remembered in a normal class debate in 11th grade I was asked about Why Mumbai Attacks happened, I replied that our security is weak and we must ensure that this never happens again and we tighten up on every point. I was a kid that time and did not had any broader understanding but yes I understood one thing that national security should be taken seriously...........& on my reply my teacher and whole classe laughed on my standout remarks and strong opinions...............Thanks Dhurandhar for letting me have the last laugh and letting the world know about the importance of information, intelligence and security. Hope my teacher wouldn't mind and genuinely I respect all teachers, it was just that my replies were strong and too bold to understand at that point

I wanted to just put some light on sindhis also faced the same problem like kashmiri pandits. Our place was destroyed and terrorists killed when our forefathers when they were leaving their own land.
However few of them survived and resettled in India.
I am a proud Indian and proud Sindhi, but still people say to me that you all came from Pakistan and let me tell them that we didn't came from Pakistan we were living in sindh which was a part of India only... even today also in our National Anthem we still have Sindh coz we still believe deep inside our heart that it's still part of India.
We did not come from Pakistan we resettled ourselves from a part of India to a part of India. It is another matter that the piece of land we left was taken by Pakistan or merged to Pakistan.
