I love how this says beginner. This is definitely not beginner lol.

I got a Banjo one day ago, since it's my childhood dream instrument. I've learned the first part pretty quickly but it's still a bit slow. Your videos are definitely helping a lot.

God bless you for making these. I got a banjo and thanks to these videos I was playing cripple creek and banjo in the hollow at a moderate speed within a couple hours of practice

This all goes to fast for me and im playing it at .075 speed

LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I'd been playing different snippets of things. I was playing since 3 months before my father died from pancreatic cancer. I played "Boil That Cabbage Down" for my Daddy over the phone. He told me I was doing great, and he suggested I get a higher end banjo. I did! Sounds SOOO much better than the cheapster banjo I bought off of Amazon. I have a Goldtone now...bought it lightly used from an actual music store off the rack. Traded the 2 cheapie banjos that were damaged in delivery in for part of the payment.

Man I just couldn't imagine playin on a banjo Earl Scruggs autographed

Just finished your entire beginner serious and I’ve got to say you really got me going in no time. I am very much looking forward to the rest of your Content.

Oh almost forgot need more videos like this it’s slow enough even i can learn from it lol

Hey buddy use to play a little probably 20 years ago lol but wanna get back in to it again kinda missed it but watching your videos really helped me along I’m like a beginner again so thank you for all you do it’s appreciated!

Damn my right hand 😂 my fingers won't pick fast enough

I've been learning this song for over 8 months,  ( I'm new to instruments in general) and this is the first time I've been able to play it in full Finally. My gf just vane out of the shower abs celebrated with me :D

Thanks for putting this together. I've been fiddling with my banjo off and on for years, but never really learned any songs correctly. Just playing by ear. This is my first song that I've learned to play correctly. I wish I would have done this a long time ago. I picked it up in a couple hours. Now I just need to practice to play it cleanly. I feel like I just leveled up and increased my interest in playing more enormously.
Some saying you teach too fast may be watching on a phone or something. I use pause and back arrow a few times to play small bits over and over until I get it. Worked great for me.

This is the exact version I learned in the late 70’s.

I'm starting to get it, but my fingers got so sore that I can't continue. I've got to get my fingers in shape for this.

I wish you had a tab with the song.  Thank you

This is great! I’ll work on this and report back.

No idea how many times I had to pause but you present everything great man i got it after like 10 minutes and I've had my banjo like 4 days

Great tune John!

Great vid my man! Managed to pick it up right away after watching this, thank you 👍
