BOOTS are the Vasque St Elias (my go-to for the last 5 years or so) but I've read that they're going out of business. Not a perfect boot...lacing system is laborious and they don't dry out well, but they're well made. I've since tried a hiking shoe (Oboz Sawtooth X) after years of canoe tripping in boots and I think I might be a convert.

SOO glad to have finally found a youtuber who does these awesome camping trip videos without hurting the fish unnecessarily. There are so many youtubers who make great videos of awesome camping trips that catch fish, pull them out by the string, grab them with their dry hands and throw them back into the water standing up or, if they want to keep them, just throw them into the canoe where they suffocate. I don't get it. Hat's off to you for showing how it's done! Great video, in general! I love the appreciation for the beautiful nature around you. :)

Thank you so much for treating the fish you catch with such respect and teaching others to do the same. Too many people seem to have no respect for the life of an animal that's giving them nourishment. It sickens me to see someone catch a fish and toss it aside to let it die slowly as opposed to dispatching it immediately. Earth needs more people like you. This is my first time seeing you, and I already subscribed.
