Watching KOG is a great reminder of what a professional can do when you stand back and let them cook

Not only is Krash voiced by Hunter's VA, Patience (the tablet thing from the beginning) has the same VA as Luz!

I like how they portray Gwen’s CPTSD throughout the episode, a lot of shows and movies and just media in general have a tendency to mess up with that sort of stuff.

Some thoughts I've seen floating around that I find interesting:

Gwen's tentacles are most likely her intestines. As a droid, it makes sense for her to have learned to control the fake muscles forming her entrails as a desperate attempt to defend herself. Hence why there's so much blue blood whenever she's using them, she's actively disemboweling herself.

The injuries Gwen shows in one of her flashbacks are very close to SA victims having "something" forced into their mouth. That with the fact Olivia claimed to "clean up" her father's mess when she was fixing Gwen and the flashback to Mr Walt Disney abusing her that pop up with the rapey cop... There are some very very dark implications that further support the conclusion you came too as well.

Andi might've had a past with an addict, Leo, possibly having been an addict herself as well. "To drop" is a term used when referring to overdosing. Story alludes to Leo having died due to an overdose with that screaming and the imagined crowd cheering "Drop, Drop, Drop!"

33:50 I could be wrong, but I think a key detail in how Frankie survived the stab wounds is that she’s got belly fat and the claws mightn’t have gone too deep. It could also be because she’s got wicked pain tolerance from working “with” Sparky.

I’m calling it. Gwynevere was the Mother or a replacement for the Mother of Olivia, either horribly things were done to her to make her a corpse that walks around or at the very least the visage is based off the mother.

I dunno about Frankie being cybernetic, i think there is an element of cartoon sturdiness going on in general (that dude loosing the arm should have been noticeably dead way sooner) and since Frankie is a bigger woman, there may be an element of padding if the blades didn't go in too deep.

But you may be right, i just think given the deep rooted poverty of the world below the park, i think that kind of cybernetic integration is a bit more than even Frankie could do

Your theory analysis at the beginning was really interesting, I never thought about it like that. I feel like my ideas leaned more into the ideals of Guinevere representing the "perfect" wife or maternal figure, but not FULLY into the idea of the mother. Really cool.

Armend, the park cop they fight, is voiced by Jason Marnocha who, among many video game and anime roles, also played Dyne in Team Fourstar's Final Fantasy 7 Machinabridged and is Ken (the dad) in The Gaslight District. The moment he had that distinct growl and that laugh I clocked it as him due to his Dyne performance.

Also, I fucking LOVE that KoG is continuing from the Owl House having people say BYEE!!!! that way.

I hope these new glitch shows get more than 1 season

I was so hyped for the reaction of KOG

Amazing episode. I love what they are doing with Gwen's character.

The back and forth between the cyberpunk and fairy tale vibe is quite eerie

This episode was soo good! I liked it even more than the pilot, it just is such an incredible next step in what will hopefully be a very incredible show.

34:19 Frankie is basically Reacher-levels of tank

I think it's good that they're actually continuing a story and not just leaving it at one episode, and I have to say I miss Cliffseit, it was actually the most fun for me, but it's been ages.

How can anyone not like Frankie? She probably has her own dark secrets, too. Like pretty much every character, that wouldn't be anything new. (On this, let's say, animation channel.)

8:49 and most of the Disney princesses also lost their mothers too.

30:02 Frankie's all muscle! 💪🏻😆💯

The man's likely still alive as long as he is because he's hopped up on drugs. As for Frankie, she's a heavier woman, so the blades may not have gone deep enough to do lasting damage, and she has enough of those little cyber-bandaids to probably save her own life offscreen.
