I have a special affection for Athens and Rio.
Barcelona was impressive.

I understand the reasons for not showing the images of Berlin 1936. However, it was precisely in these games that the tradition of bringing the Olympic flame from Olympia to the host city began, as well as the lighting of the cauldron within the opening ceremony.

The best Olympic Cauldron Lighting I've ever seen by far is 1992 Barcelona. Impressive !

Most unforgettable caldron lighting: Barcelona
Most beautiful caldron: Rio
Most emotional lighting: Atlanta.

None as badass as Barcelona. I don't think anyone will beat that ever.

The lightnings of Barcelona and Sydney were breathtaking. Moscow had a performace I like. Muhammed Ali was aswesome. Rio had a lovely cauldron, I really like it

Barcelona 92 remains the best. I replayed that part over and over again. But Atlanta 96 was the most emotional for me

Berlin 1936 should be included too. There has to be some footage of, at least, just the cauldron being lit, without any flags, salutes or whatever that can be considered inappropiate for this video. I at least have seen videos of the ceremony and there's parts where nothing but the cauldron is shown.

Today right now it would be the Opening Ceremony of the Games of the XXXII Olympiad in Tokyo and I would be watching on TV. But the Covid-19 interrupted this moment.
