The most popular way to travel between Sapporo and Tokyo is by air, with the New Chitose-Haneda route even being the world's busiest air route in some years.

This time, I traveled this route without using the Shinkansen, airplane, or any paid express trains.

The journey took about 26 hours, 13 times longer than by air, but it was a comfortable journey with beautiful scenery, so I recommend it to those with the time!
