Erico is by far the hardest guy in ABUROKYIRE

This experience is fairly common not only amongst Ghanaians. It is in all people groups. Truth is most people who come afresh do not initially understand life in abroad yet and the insecurities that goes with relationships. Relationships in abroad are hypersensitive and many learn those cultural differences after such mistakes have already happened. So let’s all forgive anyone who may have fallen for that. They never knew any better and just took things for granted. Ghana/Abroad is not the same. Sad part is when the person who hosts them hears about a tale, often they don’t confront and ask the guest. We should be careful to avoid taking what somebody has said about someone when we could actually ask them about the matter ourselves. That’s what leaves lots of conflicts unresolved.

My point is: ##Sometimes people express their frustration to another person because they failed to discuss it with their host and that person takes it back to their host as if the person was trying to tarnish their reputation. Unless you hear it yourself from the persons lips never take what someone said that they said about you. Often it’s a lie.

Second person watching you from Ireland

Some of you guys also do not want the people who use you as first contact to grow beyond the directions you want to keep them in. Helping individuals settle in doesn’t mean you are the one who brought them abroad. I have personally assisted many individuals to settle here in Canada who are now permanent residents but that doesn’t mean they should worship me. They have their own paths and that needs to be respected. That archaic and old mentality of entitlement also needs to be shedded so you can live a life of fulfillment after you see the people you helped make life and progress on their own.

I'm motivated to starve in Dubai to come to Canada because of both of you. Just as Erica was honest to his friend I never took even 10pesewas of my UK uncle's money when I was building his second house that I was in charge so after National Service because of him I am in Dubai.I've similar story as Erico. I've said to myself that even if nobody supports me financially I'll leave to Canada  early 2028.
