This car hadn’t moved in decades, it was completely abandoned, neglected, and honestly I wasn’t sure it would ever run again. From diagnosing major issues to pushing my mechanical limits, this was one of the toughest revivals I’ve ever taken on.
Will it actually start? And more importantly… will it DRIVE?

Of course it'll start and run. It's a Mazda! I drove my 1995 1.8iS back from the UK to France 9 years ago. She was pretty rough bodywise, but mechanically she's an absolute trooper. I love her to bits and I will NEVER sell her. Sooo easy to work on and utterly reliable. She's my daily at 150000 miles and 31 years old. Puts a smile on my face every time. RHD of course (which makes adjustment of the clutch an absolute pain - ask me how I know 😂).
But seriously, absolutely worth it!
