My brother Kyle got everything handed to him — Dad's business, a brand-new Tahoe, a house down payment. I got nothing and built my own way in silence. At a family BBQ, he told the whole table I'd never catch up to him. So I told them my net worth. His face went white, Mom burst into tears, and Grandpa Earl started clapping. But what I found out next about Kyle's finances made the BBQ look like nothing.
