Adele, you are so sweet and generous with your information.  Your transparency definitely creates a kind and sharing atmosphere in the doll making community.  Thank you!

Thank you for sharing this, Adele! It is a reminder that I could be doing more to build my business.

This is so cool! Is not common to see this type of feedback, is very useful and I'm very grateful you shared it, thanks 😊

I am so glad you came into my feed on my email somehow!! Wow, you are incredibly talented and you make such beautiful dolls!! I subscribed immediately!! I can't wait to explore your other videos and perhaps I will be one of your Patreon followers too!!

Ok Im obsessed with the plushies

You are a delightful creative, and a beautiful young woman. Love women who wear hats!

1 thing: I'm 71 and riddled w hereditary arthritis and my hearing is leaving me, which has caused my genetically- similar mother to lose parts of her brain function, along with her hearing. There is a straight-line tie between dementia and cognitive decline.

Therefore: I advise you, in the strongest possible terms, to plan income for your retirement. Expenses stay high, yet one's ability to support oneself is almost nil.

I'm still a girl, in my mind, and am intensively fascinated by what you create. Thanks!

I simply love your work and attitude. A breath of fresh air that is most welcome.

Honestly I am curious how to make money by making dolls.

Thank you so much for this useful information. very helpful for us beginners to learn. 😊

Hi, My name is Eileen from USA…. I love your doll making and dolls!!! They are adorable and unique!
I actually made a mushroom 🍄 doll after watching your video on it!

I'm sending a virtual bouquet to the creator

You are so kind and generous to share such personal information. It is interesting and inspiring that you are able to work full-time as an artist.

Thanks Adele for this insight.  I have been a follower of yours for a couple of years now, and have purchased your
BJD course,  I have not made it as yet.   I am also pursuing an art career, which I hope to incorporate dolls at some time.
It is inspiring to know, with determination and with following your intuitive direction, it can all work.   Keep up the great
vids.

just discovered you and your dolls and art is so beautiful!! im usually a fan of animal/fantasy art dolls. i am also trying to get into the OOAK community to be able to sell my own :) im unemployed after all lol. im lucky i get free money weekly to even be able to start this!! comparing your £350 income to my parents, makes me realise i can do this. I live in scotland and paying for rent and stuff is a bit on the cheaper side (not really), i thought by having a job will help my parents out!

Hi, I’m interested in Your knowlegde, I’m starting to do my owns porcelain's dolls , I hope you can help me, i use to do Wood’s toys

wait, are the dolls actually porcelain??

Your math don’t add up. Just from your Patreon at 40 members at $350 ea that is $14,000.00 per month total times 12 months is $168,000.00 per year from just your Patreon. So, you being the starving artist, no way. The numbers used are according to what you put out and what’s listed on your Patreon. Like I said, your math doesn’t add up to starving artist, especially when you consider your other avenues of revenue. You make out better than most of us Americans do, especially being a country with much lower cost the living than what we have.
