I've read the whole report on the FA website and it was very fair and they were obviously impressed with Tonda and what he has been doing since all this happened.  It's worth reading although it is very long!  The FA suggested a minimum 3 month total football ban but the Independent Commission didn't agree with it as it would punish the Club, the supporters and the stakeholders again and it wouldn't be fair.

Thank you Martin for all of your hard work. It is greatly appreciated. Channels like yours, mainly yours, enable me to keep my finger on the pulse with all things Saints.

Martin,
Kicked out of the players off
Points deducted
Manager fined and 6 weeks ban.
As a West Ham fan, who view Saints as promotion rivals, I personally think your punishments have been over-kill.
I think Saints have conducted yourselves with grace and dignity.
Death threats  - nobody should be receiving them. Disgusting.
Hopefully your club can move on.
Our rivalry should be very interesting.
Actually The Dell was the first away ground I saw West Ham play back in the 1970s.
Great memories

People dont seem to mention it but HE missed out on the Play-off final as well

I'm so pleased the Independent Commission had the sense and the courage to do what they have done.  Tonda has been through hell and the supporters and players have suffered too.  I think we can move on now for sure, even though it seems Boro can't but that is their problem not ours!

Fair outcome. Time to move on.

Martin you have been the beacon that all Saints fans have turned to. You have represented this club in the best way on this channel and publicly, even through all the noise, pressure, intimidation and negativity from the media and other dickheads on social media (Boro* fans…) thank you for your efforts, you’re the man! Up The Saints ❤️🤍

Great show - thanks for all you do. For us Saints fans overseas (I’m in Japan) you’re a real lifeline.

You’re positive and genuine, a rare thing in the current digital age, which is full of rage and performative nonsense, devoid of thought and nuance.

Don’t go changing and keep up the good work!

A couple of points, Tonda was not found guilty, he admitted his guilt, which is different. I have read the reasons of the tribunal and it is clear, that there is a huge amount of mitigation. They also found him to be a credible witness. As someone who has over 35 years experience of evaluating evidence and have myself written detailed reasons, it seems to be that the outcome is proportionate. It also seems to me, that the club were more at fault than Tonda in that they should have ensured that Tonda was aware of the EFL rules, which were fundamentally different to what happens on the continent. The comment about him being a good man who made the wrong decisions was a bit rich, given the club did not make sure he had the information. Had he known he would not have made the mistakes. It was also interesting to read the differences between the three charges,  He needs to fully backed by the Club and the supporters.

Was at the Pompey game last season at home and like you said the other day Martin, it was a horrible game. Ball spent more time up in the air! Only got on the ground when Leo came on and he just sort of got kicked around. Anything can happen in Derby’s, but I really fancy us this time round. The boost around the dressing room must be huge as they clearly want to play for Tonda. I just hope we bring a better atmosphere than last time round.

£28000 is a lot of fence panels Boro Spend it wisely

Don’t mind a miss-read message Martin, keep up the good work mate

The FA knew that this was a trivial offence, and eventually, they have reluctantly come round to admitting that to be the case.

Thank you Martin,  from Vietnam,  justice has been done

Really good news...! Finally now Tonda can concentrate on his amazing prowess and focus on the Team... yes, I am relieved that 'common sense' has prevailed - considering Man City I am so over the bollocks...! Thank you Martin from Australia - great report! :hand-pink-waving:🦘

i am glad he was cleared of bullying that would have been the worst he could not live that down easy

I thought talksport and sky were very rational and measured in their reporting. Jobi McAnuff is a soulless moron and has never said a clever word in his life. I respect the view that tonda should have been banned but at least the other media outlets were clever enough to say they were happy its over

Excellent news. Extatic to hear its now irritated a number of ppl including the likes of Neil Harris 😂😂

Shows what happens when you don’t have the EFL & Bora’s Gibson involved in the case, the biggest conflict of interest, I have ever come across in the game ⚽️ Having Gibson with his tie’s to Middlesbrough FC, those ties and conflict of interest between Gibson & Middlesbrough, should have meant quite obviously Gibson should have been no where near this Spygate case in the EFL Towers back in May!

Excellent as always Martin. So glad this whole sorry mess is finished. Seems the EFL over exaggerated this whole situation, and acted without rationale in their reporting.
Can we concentrate on the football now and find our away form, to challenge for promotion! On to Sunday we March.
