For over twenty years, Juan lived trapped in alcohol, cocaine, and sex, losing everything along the way. He manipulated, stole from, and destroyed his family, convinced there was no other way to live. When he hit rock bottom, alone, paranoid, and afraid of dying, he asked for help and surrendered. Today he lives in peace, aware that the addiction is still there, but free for the first time in his life.

In this episode of Addictions Uncovered, I talk with Juan, who, after two years of sobriety, understands that recovery isn't just about stopping use, but about becoming a different person.
