You've seen him before. He's the soft spoken guy painting happy clouds, mountains and trees in about twenty-six television minutes, using big housepainting-type brushes and cooing soothing "you can do its" to the audience. Me at 16:00 "I don't see how he can add any more to this painting and there's still 10 minutes left. Surely he can't add a happy little tree to an ocean painting?"

Me at 16:30 "Oh no he didn't!"

I was having a bad night, feeling overwhelmed with my job and my body just feeling exhausted. I could not calm my mind into a relaxed state. Suddenly Bob Ross came to my mind and I decided to look up some videos. Now, after this episode, I'm calm and relaxed. Thank you, Bob!

This man painted half of this episode using only white paint on a primed canvas. Amazing!

I love this guy. He was so talented and laid back. I bet he was a kind person in real life, too.

THE ORIGINAL ASMR RIGHT HERE

on a serious note if this channel belongs to the Foundation or whoever used to make me mad for claiming copyright on people who uploaded these vids ... thank you for finally getting with the times and uploading these 'legally'

You have no idea how much this helps someone with insomnia to watch and relax to

@JohnnyMoodyJfizz 10 years ago

be sure to make your water lines straight otherwise you'll need to hang a bucket off the canvas to catch it lol ALWAYS CRACKS ME UP when he says that-THAT and smacking the brush clean lol

"Palm trees are just like everything else they get lonely too so let's give it a friend" my heart warmed up 😵☺

I recognized this once he added the rough mountain. Apparently my grandmother painted this because when I grew up it was on our wall behind the TV. How many hours I must have stared at it in my peripheral vision😂
