Nice trip. I'd like to do this route or similar myself someday soon. You are young and if going to trip in there much let me tip. Get the map....cut it up into squares and buy multi pack laminates from staples or somewhere. take section/s you are doing. unfortunately the quality is sus and the seal failed way quicker than i hoped. maybe the constant bending or sun or water...but I'll just keep redoing. You might have one map your entire life. wow! portages are creeks. never seen that before. Also, Long nitrile reusable gloves. lightweight, bugs cannot bite through and use them for dishes too. gets sweaty but not smelly. not durable, may cut so take 2 or 3.
