Queen saved the show. The donations flooded in when Queen took the stage. The greatest live performance in the history of rock.

You don't need autotune when you have that level of talent. Freddie was one of a kind, the like of which we'll never see again

I was there and Queen stole the whole show. Totally awesome, something I will never forget.

Freddie was pure talent.  No need for production or auto tune.  When music was true music.  And a master of crowd interaction

Freddie did this with a bad throat infection and his Dr advised him not to, but in the words of his own immortal song ‘The Show Must Go On.’ This was watched by billions around the world and Queen stole the show. You really need to react to the whole set. You won’t regret it.

As someone said,Freddie  a microphone in one hand & 72,000 people in the other.

Watch the whole set it’s fabulous

The greatest showman that ever lived. There will never be another Freddie Mercury. Taken from the world too soon. Rest in eternal peace Freddie.

72,000 people at Wembley.  No sound check before going on, and the crowd were not all Queen fans (lots of other acts performing on the day) yet Freddie Mercury commanded them all!  Freddie had a throat infection that day and was advised by doctors not to perform...and he STILL nailed it!!  Queen stole the entire show!!   And as for the guitarist...not bad for a home made instrument!!

There may be kings of pop, rock and roll but there will only ever be one queen!!

72,000 of us packed in here, glad to say i was part of this historic event, but you really should checkout the whole 21 minutes of this

There will never be another Queen. He was one of a kind, truly an entertainer

You NEED to see the whole set of queen at Wembley. Tyler, it's amazing. Even if you don't post it just enjoy it.

Queen was the best band EVER.  Their versatility is unmatched, and Freddie was a magical being.

Still sends a shiver down my spine... RIP Freddie. 😢

I was there that day nearly 40 years ago with work colleagues and my girlfriend at the time.  On a day of days Freddie and Queen smashed the front and back doors in. Beyond compare.  I get quite emotional watching that video from time to time, great memories. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten.  Cheers

Freddy was once asked what his favourite instrument to play was. He replied back with - the crowd

There will never be another Freddie ❤ RIP

Once Mick Jagger and David Bowie, being together, were asked about their opinion about Freddie Mercury, and got answered he was the only one able to make the last row of Wembley clap.

72,000 people live, over 2 Billion on tv worldwide& 8 satellites. The Olympic games in LA in 84 only had 3! That's how big this was at the time.
