Is Windsor worth visiting on a day trip from London? We spent the day exploring Windsor, England to see what you can realistically experience in one day — including walking around Windsor Castle, shopping on the historic streets and some of the city's most popular sights.
If you're planning a trip to London and wondering whether Windsor deserves a spot on your itinerary, this video will help you decide.
After spending a day touring London on the hop-on/hop-off bus, we headed in the opposite direction from Heathrow to the beautiful city of Windsor - home of Windsor Castle.
While we didn't get to tour the inside of the castle since it was closed on the day we visited, we did get to enjoy a stroll around the outside of the castle, down the long walk, walked along the Thames, checked out some canal boats, and had lunch in a nice British pub.
