I’m disappointed in the lower battery life in the R6 III and the overheating in 4k.

Thank you for doing this! Especially the latitude test!

I would be really interested to see how these two compared to the Lumix S1ii, especially with DRE turned on and noise reduction turned off recording ProRes RAW. You're right that normally the differences are subtle but CineD tested the S1ii latitude in RAW with no NR to be 9-10 stops.

The only thing missing from your latitude tests info that you've acquired over the years is data from the first few cameras you reviewed like the Canon C70 or the Fujifilm XH2S when you didn't do latitude tests

Great comparison between the two. Something I have noticed is the C50 seems to have much better noise performance compared to the R6 Mark III. Same sensor, different processors, the C50 uses the DIGIC DV7 (Same as C80 and C400) and the R6 uses the DIGIC X. Like you said, the R6 Mark III is still a hugely competent camera, but it's interesting that Canon has squeezed more dynamic range and better performance out of this same sansor, but only if you buy the cinema version.

I know one fact that really matters to me is I live very near a Canon Service Center. It is so convenient to walk in and drop it off vs mailing the equipment in. I don't know about Sony or Nikons Professional services but my experience with Canon is first rate!
