Man. The Black Eyed Peas, Skype calls, Smash for Wii U, calling birds “Birbs”…What a beautiful time capsule of the mid 2010s

I don't know how to explain it, but 2014 Matt sounds like 2024 Matt with a ds sound font.

Absol in 2034 using 23:40 - 23:47 as an intro is gonna go so hard.

NO WAY- A 2014 shiny hunting time capsule and released in 2024?
the iconic Pokemon Heartgold soul silver badge quest in the making for 10 years

“Might watch all of Total Drama Island” is a goated line 1:35

Did anyone else hear a young Calzone at 10:06?

2014 matt jumpscare

the spirit of flame wolfo got passed down to tepig armadillo

I'm a few mins in but that intro made me so nostalgic. The era of the internet where most of us were just clueless and recording cool shit with our shaky cams is something that will never be replicated ever again and I will remember so fondly.

there is something about this early era of shiny hunting videos that is so incredibly nostalgic.
amazing vid dude!!

The way you capture not just game footage but your life that is happening when you're playing the games is what I love about your vids

i think it’s crazy how how different matt looked in 2014, he still sounds literally the exact same lol

start with a starter??? huh? Does he mean first partner pokemon?

This is an absolute gem. Wish I’d done something like this back then just to look back at how I used to shiny hunt but this really encapsulates old school shiny hunting!

Genuinely such a wholesome and cool video to watch!! Loved almost all of it, except for the shiny Weedle not appearing with the Kill La Kill fight scene audio... man that would've went so hard...

I just finished the main story of HG for the first time so I finally allow myself to watch this video

I miss the old era of YouTube when more people had their own styles and types of content. Not that there isn’t anymore but it has become more one note since the algorithm only seems to pick up on certain things. This is one of the only channels I follow that hasn’t been extremely changed with the times which is why I enjoy it so much. ❤️

10:37 the fact that mario kart 8 is technically still "the new one" 10 years later

12:34 i like to think the project was so top secret that not even your dad was allowed to know

THE SEEL SECRETS REVEALED! I've always wondered what that secret hunt was
