Matt during concert: >:O
Matt during interview: :D

Matt's posture is crazy good.

Matt is one chill guy..

i met Matt october 2018 along with the rest of the band, i can confirm hes exactly like this in person with fans. hes super chill and friendly as are all the band members. I got genuine handshakes and smiles from them all along with from the heart "Thanks for coming out and seeing us". Matt offered to sign our passes even though we didnt ask jokingly adding "Maybe itll be worth something one day" while chuckling. He took the time to address each and every fan that came through, learned there names, what their favorite Trivium song was, and wished them a great time at the show. As i went to leave i turned around and said " Hey Matt, best of luck to you and your wife with the twins" he grabbed my hand again, threw up some devil horns, and said "Thank you so much man, im glad you're part of our family". hes truly the classiest rock star.

"Hetfield was my hero"
"Exactly, so do exactly what he does"

Matt's inner voice: "Please don't bring up The Crusade"

I don't even listen to his band, but seeing how cool and down to earth he is makes me wana go and buy all their albums.

The first thing that strikes me is his posture.

Trivium is easily one of the best current metal bands.

He seems like one of the most humble and nicest people in all of metal. So many people should take a lesson from Matt Heafy. All hail Trivium.

Trivium is not really my cup of tea but Matt Heafy sure seems like a nice guy.

Listening to Matt calmly talk about gnarly metal band names is like listening to your grandma say racial slurs.

His sleeves look epic.

Still waiting for Matt Heafy's cover of No leaf Clover to be released.

One of the most down to earth dude

Matt is such a nice dude, so down to earth

He kinda looks like a skinny metal version of The Rock Dwayne Johnson.

Now that Matt mentioned it. Get Matt Sanders of Avenged Sevenfold! and also get Matt Tuck from Bullet For My Valentine! get all the Matt in Metal! 😂

Matt during concert: WHAT TRIVIUM FUCKIN NEEDS RIGHT NOW

Matt during interview: hey man how are you doing

"Prostitute disfigurement was direct support"

Thought about looking that band up then I worried about what would show up instead on YouTube

Is that Axl Rose on the fucking candle in the back?
