For context on what Qi Rong did to Xie Lian's Mother’s corpse.

When she died she was dressed In extremely rare black beautiful robes to preserve her body for centuries. Qi Rong stole the clothes off her dead body and her body dissolved into White Ashes. Which is one of the reasons Xie Lian acts brutally cold toward Qi Rong.

Edit: let's not forget that Xie Lian’s Mother was an amazingly kind women who loved her son. She let Qi Rong get away with shit that he shouldn't have and he still did this. She shielded the two kids from everything yet Qi Rong let her turn into Ash.

I just realized Xie lian's bandages specially the one on his head looks similar to Hua cheng's bandages when he was a kid.

10:20 poor Mu Qing realized what he just said

Mu Qing:Oh s-!t did i just say that? starts crying

Mu Qing is such a smart, awkward bean! I think the character designs were adorable and very creative, good job.

Hahahahha lol the way you dressed Xie Lian as a mommy is perfect.😂
