Dimes death has never left me and still hurts to this day so I can't imagine how the people in his circle still feel.

Phil is an intelligent and good man. He actually fully admitted his mistakes and faced his demons and has obviously done the hard work of introspection and self awareness. Hes not perfect and never claims to be and has apologized from the heart. Most people cant do that.

I definitely believe that if Dime didn't get murdered Pantera would have gotten back together.  It would have been killer!

“A mental callous”… I love Phil’s way of words

I find these clips so fascinating, thank you for these videos. I was, unfortunately, super late to Pantera so hearing all this history and feelings and reflection is very cool to take in as Pantera has become one of my favorite bands. Every one of these guys is unique and incredibly talented in their own way

This made me understand Phil ALOT more.
Stay strong stay brave, man.

Thanks for this mate,
I’ve heard all of these interviews but it’s always good to listen again to go over again the best band of all time, I never get tired of hearing the back stories
Thanks

Im just grateful I got to see them live a good 3 times! 🤘✌

"In the 90's there was NO Stopping Anything.", Hit Superjoint Deep with a DIME WAMMY DIVE. HalleluYAH . ☕🐢🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱

3:47 I think he said that so the fans didn’t start rumors that the band’s breaking up. He wanted to keep all the tension away from the cameras. Because it probably would’ve made life more difficult for the band

I've been a loyal fan of Anselmo's since 90. Y'all bastards just listen to his stories about life/dope and enjoy it. Their might be a pun intended in there. But don't be gossiping like you know him and his own life/voyage. Just listen to him and that's it.   Cheers from SOUTH EAST TEXAS

This is excellent! Thank you ❤

Damn I really thought this was a new interview not just rehashed old interviews

I love this channel you do great content 💯

I can relate when Phil talks about how one pain killer turns into two turns into four.

I know all about it I been clean over 2 years from heroin

Would be interesting to see another timeline where the 1991 goofy Phil never left us.
But hearing that Vinnie was kinda difficult too sets a different kinda light. Damn.

Great interview with Sterling and Kimsey.

phil helped me,  ty.. panteras pit bro

It's all an incredibly tragic and sad story. The reality of life is such that it presents you with challenges and situations that require you to step up and rise to the occasion. People just don't, but they keep on rolling anyway. you take that fact and extrapolate it to life on the road, when you're young, and with the success etc., it's all difficult to navigate, it would be for most people. But what really does you in by dilluting all your thoughts, feelings and decisions, how you relate to people, how you treat them - everything - is just constantly being loaded. Believe you me. And that's something the guys in Pantera were, like so many other people in rock'n'roll, it comes with the territory. Very easy to fall into that trap.

You walk around drunk and/or high every day of the week, it's just not gonna pan out. There's a clarity you can only get when you turn your lifestyle around and then you realize how confused, foggy and out of touch you were with pretty much everything - you keep on rolling, but everything's just passing you by, including your very own personal basic reasoning. You live your life with blindfolds and rubber gloves on and you think your visual and tactile sense is like everyone else's. You think you got it figured out, but you don't. Can't even trust your own emotions and logic. You can never mature. And then it ends in people building up so much crap amongst each other - a lot of hurt, betrayal, misunderstandings, just tons of baggage - that it ends up being too much to ever really clear up. They end up carrying it to their grave without ever rising above. The Pantera saga is just another sad story about great talent, great success and friendships being ruined by booze and dope.
