He didn't just play a man from the future, he was a man from the future.

Had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful human being, he changed my outlook on life. The world and the human race lost a very special person when he passed.  Live long and prosper. Rest in Peace Leonard.

He was an incredible man, had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with him once, amazing gentleman and unlike some stars, not arrogant and full of himself in the slightest. Even so long after he has passed he is still missed and much loved by his fans and the fans of star trek.

No one else could play Spock like him. Spock was my idol when I was a kid. Wish he was still here, when he passed away, I felt as bad as when my own father passed away a couple of weeks later. RIP Leonard. Thanks for the memories. You'll live on in our hearts forever. Thank you Jaime, for sharing this video.

From all the souls I have encountered. His soul was most human.who knows

A remarkable man; a remarkable mind.  A remarkable testimony.  Shalom.

CLASS. The man had class. He also had style and a hell of a sense of humor. I miss him.

Spock taught me how to control my emotions as a child and teenager, but Kirk taught me as an adult how to embrace my pain and turn it positive and win in what seemed like losing situations.

This man is a class act

There is a documentary called "For the Love of Spock. Very recently made and is a very insightful look into his life on and off screen. He struggled with alot of inner demons because of his role of Spock. Was aired on the SyFy channel. A must watch for every Mr.Spock and Star Trek fan. Watch it and Live Long and Prosper. Rest in Peace Mr.Nimoy who I was lucky to meet at a Star Trek convention in the late 70's in Philadelphia.

I was there at this speech in 2011.. damn it's been 10 years already.... You could really feel the emotion in his voice. For a long time I regretted not recording it because I never saw it uploaded anywhere. I'm glad someone saved it. It's too important a piece of trek history to lose.

RIP Leonard Nimoy

god bless

Memories of this man will "live long and prosper". Corny yes but true.

The words of a great man, much mourned.
43:38 “I am an incurable romantic. I believe in hope, dreams, and decency. I believe in love, tenderness and kindness. I believe in mankind. I believe in goodness, mercy, and charity. I believe in the universal spirit. I believe in casting bread upon the waters. I'm awed by the snow-capped mountains, by the vastness of the oceans. I'm moved by a couple of any age holding hands, as they walk through city streets. A living creature in pain makes me shudder with sorrow. A seagull's cry fills me with a sense of mystery. A river or stream can move me to tears. A lake, nestling in a valley, can bring me peace. I wish, for all mankind, the sweet, simple joy that we have found together. I know that it shall be. And we shall celebrate, we shall taste the wine and the fruit. Celebrate the sunset and the sunrise, the cold and the warm, the sounds and the silences, and the voices of the children. Celebrate the dreams and  hopes which have filled the souls of all decent men and women. We shall lift our glasses and toast, with tears of joy."
"Thank you. Thank you. This is hard. This is hard. I thought it would be, and it is. I still owe a couple of appearances here and there, so I may pop up from time to time, you may hear my voice on a soundtrack, or maybe see a fleeting image of me on television or in a movie. But this is my final convention appearance. I'm so grateful for the support we've had, and for the love and exchange of love that we've had for so many years, it's meant an awful lot to me and to all of us connected with Star Trek. You've been gracious, you've been warm, you've been generous, you've been in a word wonderful, and we appreciate it, I appreciate it very, very much. May each and every one of you Live Long and Prosper. Good night!”
