I had never heard the real story of Robert Stroud, so I found this to be so fascinating and interesting.  Strange mystery upon his death why his mother was listed as his wife.  Thank you, Jordan for doing this Vlog.  That is one cute little Christmas miracle you have as your traveling companion!!

May I add that your story telling has become outstanding! I love all the facts and how you present them. I can really tell you give us the best you have, always! And it's good!

My pet canary is performing a Christmas concert for me right now.  No lie, her name is Carla Julia ("CJ").

I went on the tour of Alcatraz in the 90s and they show how he saved everyone in the prison

His mother was nuts

13:11 That was awesome  ! I'm glad you knew the Birdman of Alcatraz was buried in Metropolis. Most folks don't know that. I always tell our guests that are heading to Super Museum to check out his grave. My step Dad is from that area, so I knew where he was buried since I was a kid in the 60s. Oh, you did an awesome job showing  Superman's town and museum. Did you meet the owner's daughter Morgan while there ? She gives an awesome tour of her Dad's collection. Merry Christmas to you, Katie, your Mom, Grandpa, sister, Jah and rest of the family.

Merry Christmas Jordan, Katie and Jah. I am saying a prayer for your grandfather too. Thank you so much for all of the wonderful adventures. 😊❤🎅🤶☃️🎄🎁

I never believe the loved up versions of stories, I knew about his true character but you gave me more info I didn’t know about. It’s the 25th here tomorrow 😁 Merry Christmas 🎄Jordan, have a wonderful day. ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺

Thank you. You R a GREAT storyteller

They didn't send nice guys to Alcatraz.

What a story. Hollywood does tend to “change” the facts to tell and sell a story

Merry Christmas to you Jordan, Katie, Papaw, and little Jahberry. How cute! Thank you for telling us the true story of Robert Stroud.

Merry Christmas! BTW Robert Stroud was nuts.

Cool story....I remember watching the movie wirh Burt Lancaster about the Birdman 🐦  Merry Christmas Jordan

Thank you Jordan for another really great video!
I did the Alcatraz tour back in 1998.
On the day we visited, a former guard was present, and he said: "Robert Stroud was nothing like the man portrayed by Burt Lancaster in the movie - he was a nasty piece of work - and he didn't keep birds at Alcatraz."
Robert Stroud was obviously an intelligent man - if he had gotten an education at the start of his life perhaps he wouldn't have spent most of it in prison?
Have a great Christmas and New Year. We all look forward to the next posting.

Well said, accurate without the drama. Thank you for telling the truth about Stroud and letting people see how bad the system can be and in part still is.  Merry Christmas to you,  your family, your girl friend  and of course the little elf himself Jaw (spelling).

Yeah it is sort of odd how they made him out to be this super gentle nice guy in the film with burt lancaster

Very interesting. Love these types of stories. Merry Christmas!
