It is pretty special. My first hills climbed when I was 7 yo, some 50 years later they remain my favourite place to wander. The Living Mountain says it all as does your video.

I had to smile at your comments re stove noise Chris. I like to sometimes use my Optimus Polaris multi-fuel stove but boy-oh-boy it's a relief to turn it off ... the world seems so silent afterwards! By the way  this is a very nice film. I think you seem so much more relaxed and natural nowadays on these self curated videos. Great stuff. 😃

I remember semolina from junior school.  Back then I didn't like it. The teachers refused to let me leave and I refused to eat it !  They'd clear all the tables chairs away then finally give up on me and let me go! They eventually called mum and said you'd be better off sending him in with sandwiches!  I enjoy semolina dessert now !  I just chuck the porridge in boiling or hot water wait for it to cool to eat!  Its not great with just water anyway but certainly enjoyable enough.   Nice camp

Very nice Chris, the Cairngorms are alwaysa favourite of mine. Is that a Pajak sleeping bag you have there? If so, how do you find it? I have the radical ulz which is just about ok to 0c for me but amazingly light.

I see you have been using the new hubabua 1HD in a few camps. How are you finding it after a few camps?
I have the older elixir 1 and love it but it’s a bit on the heavy side so quite fancy the new huba huba 1HD as it’s lighter and has more space inside.
Not cheap and worried if it will hold up in uk weather ok as it’s lighter fabrics over the elixir.
