Every now and then you pick up a shotgun and have so much fun the final score has absolutely no bearing on your day.

The Beretta SP Auto sporting clays course at Eaton Hall during the Beretta Gold Cup was exactly that.

Autos only...

3 targets on every stand...

I've never had so much fun with a shotgun!!!

A huge thank you to Sam and Reece for joining us.

Something different and well worth watching.

I’ve more autos then anything in my collection they are all very different a bit like side by sides it takes you a while to find what you like in one but the great thing is you can make them your own with after market parts. Really keen to look at the A400 solo as it could do it all for me from big days on crows to shooting 4 slabs on sim days.

The sp auto is always good fun especially if you're with a non competitive group, i shot the very first when nobody really knew what to expect and they've all been just as much fun, didn't get to this one through Ill health but will be back 👍

Fantastic looking fun!

There is another shoot of the same ilk each year at Hepworth Hall, Essex. Normally held early September, setup by John Dyson i believe (same course setter and and place that the Essex Masters is held). 12 Stands with 3 targets at each. The format at each stand being:
A o/r B (full use of gun, i.e. 3 cartridges can be loaded)
A o/r C (full use)
A o/r B o/r C
A, B, C Sim!!!

It's actually called (or current called) The "Chapmans UK 120 Super Sporting & Promatic Semi Automatic shoot". You can enter the 'O/U Sporting Class' and shoot the same A, B and C targets with an O/U but I'm unfamiliar with the format of that round as I'm too busy enjoying enjoying the rare format of the semiauto round.
