Madrid Spain Description – December 2025

We visited Madrid Spain at Christmas Time December 2025.
YouTube channel creators Carole & Wayne, who live full-time in Portugal’s Algarve region, were joined by 2 of their US Expat neighbors ( Victor & Diane Plante), who also have full-time residence in Portugal.

To start our journey, we ventured by private automobile transport from Portugal to Seville Spain’s Santa Justa train station. From there, we boarded a very comfortable 2 level train for a relaxing ride to downtown which took a little over 2 hours. Then a short Uber ride to our Hotel Preciados for a 5 days - 4 night stay in the heart of the city. From that home base, we visited many attractions, restaurants, mercados, walking & Tuk Tuk tours to enjoy Madrid’s Christmas atmosphere and  enjoy  Madrid's people, culture, attractions, food, wines, architecture, history & Christmas displays

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Madrid and encourage anyone who has the opportunity to come for a visit to this lively and bustling city and enjoy all it has to offer.
