It's a significant album that changed music forever.
Loved your thoughtful reaction to this Beatles classic. ....Please 'yap' whenever you want. After all, that's the reason we are here. Although I've listened to The Beatles for over 60 years, I still love to hear intelligent commentary about their music,,, and that's what you do. Thanks.
Abbey Road was the last album the Beatles recorded, and expectations were high. One day that September of '69 my mother said to be home right after school. Dad was going to the record shop, and the owner had promised to save a copy the day it was released. The three of us sat, staring at the stereo not wanting to speak, except for the odd "wow ." It remains a masterpiece.
