Glen: " I don't like stabbing myself in the arms"....."unlike the bloke who replaced me in the Pistols" .

Midge Ure what a man 😍😍 I wasn't even born til 1984

Midge's jacket looked a little New Romantic for 1978 ;-)

Glen was great for the Pistols in 1976 but the minute they did the Bill Grundy show he was out of place with the noteriety of the band. He was too nice for them and he was more into melody. From then on through 77' to 78 McClaren needed a nasty little bastard in the band to create chaos and sell newspapers and Sid was perfect. But by the American tour Cook & Jones wanted Glen back and even Rotten regretted getting Sid in the band. He'd created his own little Frankenstein 😆

Interviewed by Annie Nightingale, I believe. I recognise her voice from Radio 1.

How many musicians/artists went through 3 completely different incarnations like Midge did? Amazing. He's like Dr. Who of the pop world.

OMG! Midge's mullet and sans mustache

Ure was hard to understand those days.

A weird combination (Midge and Glen) but hey-ho...that's music.

Great upload.

Midge's  Bay City Rollers / Isla St Clair    hairdo  is  real rank .Classic Glen quote "I don't like stabbing myself in the arm , cos it does hurts."

Молодые какие :-)

Midge was the original choice of singer for the Pistols, but he did nae wanna do it.

Just basically updated Beatles beat group vibe.

Glen was more like a session musician , he joined a succession of bands inc the obscure  Soectres, didn’t get anywhere though.   One of those hard to fathom kind of characters   but still done well for himself.

No moustache for Ure?

Жаль, что БОГАТЕНЬКИЕ МАЛЬЧИКИ , не смогли раскрутится, музыка у них была потрясающая...
